WIP: #3 of ?? in “Shoulders of Giants” series

I present to you Milton Pitts Crenchaw. The first African American to fly combat airplanes in WWII. Also one of the instructor pilots of the Tuskegee Airmen. I encourage you to read more about him and others like him.

Girl In Red Shirt

Girl In Red Shirt is an older commissions but I still like it. And since I don’t have my latest project in a stage ready to share, I thought I’d upload this one instead. I’ll tell one of the things I miss most about my undergrad art years was believe it or not, the critiques. […]Read Post ›

Valley Girl

After looking at various works by Monet, I had an idea for this painting but I need something to go with it. I am sincerely open for suggestions. Either something symbolic or a  fantastic story or a fable.

Second variation of a character design for my friend Ben.

Self Portrait

Day Job

This is a self portrait from an oil painting course I was taking. Never painted on mdf before but it stores pretty easy but difficult to transport. Overall I like it! It’s me so I kinda have to like it, right?

Alex

This is a character created for a friends fiction novel.   I made several copies of the drawing after I initially inked it and tried several variations of color combinations. Well, after several outfit changes, this one was the   winner.
